I can move my neck!

In 1973, I was in a car accident, which banged up the left side of my neck pretty good. Because I had no problem, other than initial soreness, I cashed the check from the insurance company and wend on with life. But about 10 year later, my neck got so stiff I could not look over my shoulder when changing lanes on the highway. A chiropractor helped get my flexibility back, but never did free up the vertebrae at the base of my neck – his favorite comment, and the one I found more irritating was, “I’m not going to wrestle with you today.” Since then, I have seen three other chiropractors, each having varying success with the “stubborn vertebrae”.

In February 2007, I began seeing Dr. Beck because my neck was almost as stiff as when I began treatment 20+ years ago, but this time with pain. Dr. Beck commitment to continuing education has really paid off for me, as three weeks of therapy with the new machines (and skilled adjustments, of course) have done what four other doctors could not. The stubborn vertebrae now release as soon as he puts a finger on them, neck pain is mostly gone, range of motion is good, and my general sense of well being has increased. Besides that, we recently refinished the floors of our upstairs bedrooms, and I had more endurance than my 23 year old son when we moved four rooms of furniture back upstairs.
